Pool Coping 12x24

Each 12x24 piece covers 2 linear feet, so a 100 ft perimeter is 50 pieces before overage, half the count of a 6x12 cap. The 12" depth is the standard on a rectangular or gently curved residential pool: it spans the bond beam, leaves a 1" to 2" overhang at the water, and still has bearing on the beam behind. Curves with a radius under about 5 ft are better served by the 6" and 4" deep sizes.

Matching the cap to the deck

The obvious pairing is 12x24 pavers laid in a running bond, so every coping joint can line up with a paver joint or land on a half-lap. It also borders a French pattern field, since 24" is a multiple of the pattern's 8" module. Order the coping in the same thickness as the deck: both 1-1/4" and 2" are available here, split between bullnose and eased edge. Marble in leather or sandblasted covers Tundra Grey, Ocean Blue, Ice White, Ibiza White and more; travertine is available in nine colors, and there is a tumbled Lymra limestone option.
