Pool Coping 24x72

At 24" by 72" this is the largest piece we cut, and it is listed as a tread/cap because that is how it gets used. One slab covers 6 linear feet and 12 square feet, so a 6 ft wide pool entry step is a single stone with no joints, a 12 ft seat wall is two pieces, and a spa wall or an outdoor kitchen pier gets capped with no seams to grout. Every piece is 2" thick and eased edge: a slightly softened square edge that reads modern, unlike the rounded bullnose on 16x48 coping.

Where it works and where it does not

It belongs on straight lines. There is no cutting a 6 ft slab around a curve, and it is heavy enough that setting needs two people and a clear path from the curb, so check the pallet weight on the product page before ordering and read the LTL freight guide. For a full-depth cap on the pool edge itself, most builders use 24x36 coping for coping and 24x72 for the steps and walls, since both are 2" and 24" deep and the top surfaces line up. The deck behind should be 2" 24x48 pavers or 24x24 pavers so the 24" module carries through. Marble is leather or sandblasted in Tundra Grey, Ice White, Ibiza White, Bursa White, Corsica Cream, Diane Royal and Ocean Blue; travertine comes in Ivory, Walnut, Noce, Silver, Silver River, Silver Alaska and Country Classic. The same slabs appear under wall caps for non-pool projects.
