Pool Coping 16x48

Four linear feet from a single stone is the headline. A 48 ft straight side of a rectangular pool takes twelve 16x48 pieces and eleven joints; the same run in 12x24 coping would need 24 pieces and 23 joints. Fewer joints means less grout to maintain and a cleaner line, which is why contractors reach for this size on modern rectangular pools, lap pools, long seat walls and wide steps. It is the wrong size for any curve: 48" will not follow a radius without heavy cutting.

One profile, one thickness

Every 16x48 in this collection is bullnose and 2" thick. There is no eased-edge or 1-1/4" version at this length; if you want a square modern edge on a long piece, the closest options are the eased-edge 24x36 coping at 3 ft or the 24x72 eased-edge tread. The 16" depth matches 16x24 coping, so the two can be mixed on the same pool, 16x48 on the straight runs and 16x24 where cuts are needed, with the back edge staying in one line. Behind it, 16x24 pavers or 24x48 pavers keep the 48" joint rhythm.
