Ibiza White Marble

Ibiza White is a white Turkish marble with soft grey clouding, offered here in leather and sandblasted finishes as pool coping (bullnose, eased edge and remodel), pavers from 6x12 up to 36x36, 24x72 treads, plus a 6x24 splitface ledger panel and a honed tile. Ibiza White marble: coping, pavers and wall pieces

Ibiza White is the brightest of the white marbles we carry from Turkey. The base is a clean white with faint grey clouding and the occasional thin vein, and it stays fairly consistent from pallet to pallet, which matters when a pool deck and the coping are ordered a few weeks apart. It is a dense stone, so it takes a marble finish well: the leather finish has a low sheen with a slightly rippled surface, while the sandblasted finish is flatter and more matte with a bit more grip when wet. Both are what we recommend around water; six pieces in this collection also come tumbled, mainly the small 6x12 format.

What is in the collection

Coping makes up about half of the 88 products. You will find bullnose and eased edge in 4x9, 6x12, 12x12, 12x24, 14x24, 16x24, 24x36 and 16x48, and a small run of remodel (drop-face) coping for resurfacing an existing shell. Pavers run 12x12, 16x16, 12x24, 16x24, 24x24, 24x36, 24x48 and 36x36 in 1-1/4" and 2" thicknesses. Two 24x72 treads at 2" cover steps and seat walls, one 6x24 splitface ledger panel handles a feature wall, and a single honed tile version exists for an interior floor or shower.

Pairing coping with pavers

  • 12x24 or 16x24 eased edge coping with 24x24 pavers keeps the joints lining up on a straight-run rectangular pool.
  • 6x12 bullnose follows freeform and radius pools with the least cutting; use it with 12x24 or 16x24 pavers.
  • 24x36 or 16x48 coping suits a long spa lip or a raised beam where you want fewer joints.

Because the white is so clean, the deck reads very bright in full sun. Some builders keep Ibiza White for the pool coping and treads and run a slightly warmer field of ivory-toned stone, or go the other way with Ice White pavers for a fully white deck. Frequently asked questions

Is Ibiza White marble slippery around a pool?

The sandblasted finish is the one most builders use on the walking surface because it has a fine, even texture that grips a wet foot. Leather is smoother with a low sheen and is more common on coping and treads. Both are far less slick than a polished marble, which we do not offer for exterior use.

Which coping size should I choose for a curved pool?

For a freeform or kidney-shaped pool, 6x12 or 4x9 bullnose follows the curve with less waste than a 24-inch-long piece. On straight runs you can switch to 12x24 or 16x24 and cut only at corners. Many crews mix both sizes on the same pool.

What is the difference between remodel coping and standard coping?

Remodel coping has a drop face that hangs down over the front of an existing bond beam, hiding the old edge when you resurface a pool without demolition. Standard bullnose and eased edge sit flat on the beam. Check your beam height before ordering because the drop depth is fixed.

How is Ibiza White shipped and how much do I need?

It ships on pallets by LTL freight with a liftgate to the curb, usually within 7 to 10 business days. Each product page lists square feet or piece count per pallet. Measure the deck, add the coping as linear feet, and order an extra 10 percent or so for cuts and breakage.
