Ice White Marble

Ice White gets its name from its temperature rather than its brightness. Where some white marbles lean warm, Ice White has a bluish-grey cast in the veining and a background that stays cool even at midday. The veins are finer and more linear than the clouding in Ibiza White, so a large-format deck of Ice White reads as a quiet grey-white plane rather than a patchwork. It is a dense marble that machines cleanly, which is why the eased edge coping in this collection has such a sharp, straight arris.

Finishes: leather vs sandblasted

Both finishes are split evenly through the collection. Leather is brushed to a soft, slightly undulating surface with a faint sheen that makes the veining show; sandblasted is fully matte and hides the veining a little, but it gives the most traction on a wet deck. A common approach is sandblasted pavers on the walking surface and leather on coping, steps and seat walls where hands and legs touch the stone.
