Paver 6x12

A 6x12 paver covers exactly half a square foot, so 200 pieces make 100 sq ft. That small footprint is the point: it is the one size in the range that turns corners, follows a curved pool edge and lays in herringbone without cutting every other piece. Most 6x12 orders are not full fields at all. They are soldier courses around a field of 16x24 pavers or a French Pattern set, a two-course band along a driveway apron, or a running-bond walkway between beds.

Layouts that work at 6x12

• Herringbone at 45 or 90 degrees. The 2:1 ratio locks the pattern, and 2" thick pieces handle vehicle loads on a compacted base.
• Running bond with a half-piece offset for paths and steps.
• Soldier or sailor course as a border around larger formats.
• Stack bond for a tight modern band next to a pool.

The same 6x12 footprint exists as 6x12 pool coping in bullnose and eased edge, which is how you keep joints lining up where the coping meets the deck.
