Corsica Cream marble: warm cream coping and pavers

Corsica Cream is the warmest stone in our marble line. The ground is a creamy beige, closer to a pale sand than to white, with tan and soft grey movement that gives it depth without strong veins. It is the marble that most resembles a good ivory travertine in color, which is why builders who want the travertine tone but a smoother, denser surface land here. It photographs well against green lawn and dark mulch, and it is the least likely of our marbles to look grey in overcast light.

Every Corsica Cream piece is finished leather or sandblasted; there are no tumbled items in this collection. Coping is the largest part, 46 of the 80 products, split between bullnose, eased edge and four remodel pieces, in 4x9, 6x12, 12x12, 12x24, 14x24, 16x24, 24x36 and 16x48. Pavers run 12x12, 16x16, 12x24, 16x24, 24x24, 24x36, 24x48 and 36x36 in 1-1/4" and 2". Two 24x72 treads at 2" are available for steps, seat walls and counters.

Compare with nearby stones

Corsica Cream shares the beige color page with Diane Royal, which is lighter and greyer. Frequently asked questions

Is Corsica Cream closer to beige or to white?

Beige. It is a warm cream with tan movement and does not read as white even next to a darker stone. If you want a lighter option in the same family, Diane Royal is a step toward white; if you want a true white, look at Bursa White or Ibiza White.

Can I mix Corsica Cream marble coping with travertine pavers?

Yes, and it is common. Corsica Cream coping over tumbled ivory travertine pavers gives a smooth, crisp pool edge with a textured, cooler deck. Order samples of both to check the tone match, since travertine varies more lot to lot than marble does.

Which thickness should I use for the treads?

The 24x72 treads in this collection are 2 inch thick, which is the standard for a step or seat wall cap that overhangs. For pool coping on a standard beam 1-1/4 inch is fine, but 2 inch gives a heavier edge profile and more resistance to chipping on the nose.

How many pallets do I need for a 600 square foot deck?

It depends on the size you choose, because square feet per pallet vary by size and thickness and are listed on each product page. Add roughly 10 percent for cuts and breakage, then add the coping as linear feet along the pool edge. Send us the drawing for a take-off.
