Crema Pearl Marble

Crema Pearl is a dense beige marble with a fine, speckled grain: a cream to light beige ground scattered with small gray and pearl-white flecks, and occasional soft veins. Sandblasting gives it a fine, evenly textured face that is slip-resistant when wet without the rounded edges of a tumbled stone, so the pieces keep crisp, square corners and tight joints. The result is a paver that looks tailored and modern from a distance while still reading as natural stone up close. It is grouped with our beige stones and pairs with white render, light oak decking and blue or turquoise pool interiors.

Formats in Crema Pearl

All sixteen listings are pavers. Sizes are 6x12, 12x12, 12x24, 16x16, 16x24, 24x24, 24x36, 24x48 and 36x36. The 1-1/4" thickness covers the standard pool deck and patio sizes, and the 2" thickness is offered in the larger formats for open-joint layouts, stepping pads and pedestrian paths on a compacted base. Crema Pearl has no coping listing of its own; for the pool edge most builders choose a sandblasted or leather marble coping in a matching beige from the pool coping collection, or a remodel coping piece if they are resurfacing an existing pool.

Pairing and care

Marble is harder and less porous than travertine, so Crema Pearl takes fewer stains and holds a cleaner look on a busy deck, but it still needs a penetrating sealer; the sealing and maintenance guide sets out the schedule. The sandblasted texture hides light scratches well but collects fine dirt, so a hose and a soft brush once a season keeps the flecked pattern visible. Crema Pearl lays cleanly in a 24x24 grid or a 12x24 and 24x24 two-size pattern; keep joints narrow to make the most of the square edges. Its closest relatives are Moon Cream, a paler cream marble in a leather finish, and Diane Royal, which has more visible veining.
