Myra Limestone

Myra is a warm beige limestone with a fine, sandy texture and gentle tonal variation from cream to light tan. It has none of the sharp veining of marble and only a scattering of small shell fragments, so a finished surface looks soft and consistent. The tumbled finish gives an easy-going, slightly aged edge that suits both traditional and contemporary work. Myra falls in our beige color family and is one of the stones we suggest when a client wants warmth without the orange tones some travertines show.

What the collection contains

Every listing here is a paver. Sizes run 6x12, 12x12, 12x24, 16x16, 16x24, 18x36, 24x24, 24x36, 24x48 and 36x36. The smaller formats are mostly 1-1/4", while the large formats from 24x24 up are where the 2" thickness lives. That makes Myra a two-track stone: 1-1/4" 12x24 and 16x24 for pool decks and patios over concrete, and 2" 24x36, 24x48 and 36x36 for plank layouts, stepping pads through gravel or lawn, and pedestrian paths on a compacted base. There is no Myra coping, so pair it with a beige travertine or marble coping from the pool coping collection, or use a large Myra paver as a square-edge coping on a spa wall.

Pairing and installation notes

Myra is close enough in tone to Symra that the two can be mixed on one project if a size is short in one or the other; Symra is a shade lighter and slightly more uniform. Against Myra, a dark border in Sandy Beige brushed basalt or a charcoal porcelain plank gives a clean modern frame, and a Diane Royal marble coping gives a lighter marble edge with faint veining. Keep the sealer natural-look; an enhancing sealer pushes Myra toward tan and can make it look wet all the time. Limestone should be cleaned with pH-neutral products only. When ordering large formats, allow extra pieces for cuts and follow the overage guide so you are not waiting on a second pallet.
